Age is but a Number

Age is but a Number

One of the many reasons why I love my clients so much is the amount of obstacles they soar through in order to achieve their goals. Whether it’s a busy work schedule, an injury, kids to care for, or even just old age, they never stop working hard. They never let anything get in the way of their goals.

Two days a week I teach a senior citizen exercise class. My clients in that class are roughly 60-85 years of age and come twice a week, every week, to work out for an hour. Most of them go for walks on their own in addition to the class. Today one of those clients, who is 80+ years old, informed me that it was too wet for them to walk outside this morning. Just as I was about to tell them that it was ok and that safety comes first, they told me that instead they drove to the mall and they circled inside the mall for two and a half miles (in the air condition)! This client is 80+ years old and managed to get over 6,000 steps before 11:00am and then attended an hour of exercise class right after.

Age is only a number. If you want it bad enough, you can achieve it.
